Lucky Rod Pizzas

You want amazing Pizza?? - Look no further - the best I've tasted! Highly recommended. We were lucky enough to have Lucky Rod Pizzas visit our workplace today and we were not disappointed 😀 Being a chef in a previous career I'm always interested to see the ingredients and how it's prepared and of course the final result. The Lucky Rod Pizza set up was great - a serving bar all looking tip top clean, fun, inviting and welcoming smiles from the lovely owners. Behind the bar - a couple of tables, 1 with the box of layers of beautifully risen dough waiting to be hand stretched into a freshly made pizza bases and another table with all the freshly prepared toppings laid out. And of course a pizza is not complete without an oven - they were using a small pizza oven which cooked each pizza to perfection with the help of the young lady expertly moving the pizzas in/out ensuring they were cooked and charred just a little for extra taste. The whole set up was perfect and would be a real treat for any event. They were totally organised, calm and professional in serving us all - total of 60 pizzas served to our staff over two days. So the important part - The Taste! AMAZING! 😀 The dough - so tasty, soft, yet crisp on the edges and charred with the right of amount of texture to hold the toppings - no soggy middle. The toppings - I went for a Cheeky Greek. Tomato sauce base, lovely Pesto, lots of garlic, Feta, fresh basil leaves, cheese and seasoning including Oregano which I was told that it's brought back from Greece so very authentic. I could taste the individual flavours which all made a wonderful OMG THIS TASTES AMAZING pizza. So to conclude - If you order pizza from Lucky Rod, you're in for a treat and great customer service. 100% highly recommend Thanks Guys, we will see you again - soon I hope!

I recently got a chance to try Lucky Rod Pizza at their pop-up in Provador. The star of the show the 'Cheeky Greek'. The homemade pesto was a true revelation, bursting with the fresh flavours of basil, garlic, and pine nuts. The tangy feta cheese and juicy tomatoes paired perfectly with the pesto, making each bite a delightful symphony of flavours. The tomato sauce on this pizza was also noteworthy. It had a rich, robust taste that complemented the savoury toppings while still letting the fresh ingredients shine. I also appreciate how Lucky Rod Pizza offers great value for money. Lucky Rod stand testament to the fact you don't need to charge £15+ for a pepperoni, even if it is 2024. Brilliant, fresh ingredients, lovely service, great price. Top brass.
